This weekend I went over to Jersey, not for the Jersey shore but for Formula D at wall speedway. As soon as I came into the parking lot, I spotted Andy Sapps Beamer chilling on top of trailer, that thing looks ever more bad ass up close. After walking around for a bit and talking to Andy, Matt Powers, and Mad Mike, everyone started to get ready for the qualifying. I being a sneaky bastard followed the photographers, and sure enough i got into the track, I waited for the car to pull up and do burn outs,so I can I take some pictures. After a while of looking at cars burn out, I wanted to get closer to the track, but as I got the the edge of the track and started to set up for some shots, this huge guy comes up behind me and asks me for my media pass. I left without giving him a hard time and went to watch the event.
As the top 16 started I saw a tower that I could clime to get better shots, for the rest of the event I was sitting at the watch tower, snapping away. Yoshihara and Jr were head to head again for the top spot, Yashihara beat him two in a row for first place, talk about deja vu, and Tanner took third good for someone that din’t even qualify last year on this track.
